RX-7 vs Toyota Supra TTGOD 03-15-2001, 04:03 PM I think that this would be an awesome race . These are two of my favorite cars :) A rotary Twin turbo charged RX-7 vs a ...Twin turbo charge supra . The supra out weights the rx-7 by alot but the supra has alot more power than the rx-7. Which one would u perfere and which one would u think would win in the 1/4 and top end ? enzo@af 03-15-2001, 04:29 PM I think the Supra is a better drag car, but I take the RX-7 no question. Plenty of potential for modifying it and way better looks, IMO. SkylinesKillAll 03-15-2001, 07:45 PM supra definatley. at least u dont have to buy a new motor b4 it hits 100,000 miles. Bean Bandit 03-19-2001, 07:02 AM RX/7 for me no question. Both cars can be modified to enormous extents so I'll care for the looks:bandit: VTEC V6 03-24-2001, 04:57 PM no doubt a SUPRA those engines can handle 800 rwhp w/o even changin out the internals a stock motor!! that is incredible and they are more reliable than the RX-7s Bean Bandit 03-28-2001, 01:02 PM Reliability is a matter of treatment! enzo@af 03-28-2001, 05:15 PM Good call. A lot of people don't realize that the Wankel is designed to burn small amounts of oil...one cause for it's often early demise. I'm not sure what the new RENESIS rotary will be like...I heard awhile back that Ford was working to get the engine not to burn any oil. Considering the new engine passes emissions.....I'd assume they succeeded. TheSandman900 08-16-2003, 02:26 PM RX-7's are so much better than Supra's...So much lighter, handeling is alot better, Sounds better, can Drift 10X better that a supra with it's perfect 50:50 weight distriputaion between the front and rear wheels, and it just looks alot better.... period Twyzz 08-16-2003, 11:32 PM Drop in a tri rod motor into the RX-7 and the Supra will be DONE NISSANSPDR 08-19-2003, 02:56 PM RX7 for road racing and autocrosses... Supra for highway battles... blazed on haze :\ 08-19-2003, 11:55 PM Drop in a tri rod motor into the RX-7 and the Supra will be DONE a what?... dont you mean a tripple-rotor engine?... i think the rx-7 is better. i mean c'mon! what is more fun than driving a turboed rotor?! nothing in my opinion. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
