hello, i just got a 1964 ford sidestep and i was just wondering what size of a stock engine would be? someone told me there was a 308 in it but i really dont know much about trucks yet? also how much horsepower is it putting out? thanx for your help

Not sure what a side step is but if its a truck the its probably a 292 Y block.. Can you give us more info:)

A sidestep is the type of truck with the flared in fenders, not straight.

As far as engines go, I'm afraid I can't help you, I'm not very knowledgable in the area. But we have several people here that should be able to help you, just give it them a little bit of time...

I would call it a Stepside then and the other a Fleetside:D

Going by the age of the truck I still think its a 292:smoka:
