Which Cerbera?Adam 03-14-2001, 05:02 PM I was just wondering which version you liked best. I thought the 4.5 was MUCH better looking... Cbass 01-12-2002, 09:24 PM I think the 4.5 is a beautiful car. I don't like the new headlights at all. I prefer the older single units. They look bigger than they really are, but once you get near one... ohhh.. nice. I'm buying one once I'm through university. The speed 12 looks. A little to mean for my tastes. As a daily driver, I like the clean styling of the 4.5, the understated elegance.\ Tom_S8 01-21-2002, 03:46 PM 4.5 is really nice , but i would really concider the speed six , althought it's weeker , the 6cyl engines from TVR are more sporty than the V8s which aren't that nice from what i've heard ... too bad there are so much problems to get one with LHD Cbass 02-01-2002, 12:28 AM The 6 cylinder makes nearly as much power as the 4.2 anyways. In a car this light, it doesn't matter all that much. I read at the New York Times website that TVR is beginning to import LHD models to the US either next year or for 2004. So far, all I've heard about are Tuscans and Tamoras, but it can't be hard to get a Cerbera of any kind through their new dealers. You wouldn't happen to have the url to the website where you read that would you? I hope they import them. I realllllly hope they do....:D :D jsb88 11-02-2002, 01:21 PM It has got to be the 4.5... Cbass 11-02-2002, 06:21 PM I read that on the nytimes website, I'm not sure of the article. It was about the TVRs in Swordfish, and talked a bit about importing them. Then again, I haven't heard anything else about it, so it's probably a wash. I want a Cerbera :( jsb88 11-03-2002, 04:35 AM A lot of people know TVR due to that film. It was actually a good idea, because instead of some Dodge Viper, they used something more unusual end exotic. Cbass 11-05-2002, 05:20 PM Ha, I loved TVRs well before that movie came out! In fact, I loved TVR before I knew they made cars after the 60s! I like the original Griffiths, and I was surprised when I was playing Gran Turismo and it had TVR in it! They had a Griffith and I said, that's not a Griffith! Then I read the little history bio thing, and got on the internet :) To cut a long story short, sell your Jag, JSB88, there is no excuse to own a Jag when you don't own a Cerbera... unless you're concerned with the ride, in which case, WTF, you own a 340! Why would you care about ride quality? :D jsb88 11-06-2002, 03:17 AM I do need something with four seats though... I am buggered if I do... Cbass 12-07-2002, 07:51 PM Come on, you know you want to ;) I warn you though, if you do buy a Cerbera I will fly to England so I can look at it in persond :D jsb88 12-08-2002, 06:52 AM ahhh noooo!!! Menu dei Motori 01-16-2003, 02:56 PM i would never buy it from private. look at dealers... right hand drive lambos are rare jsb88 01-17-2003, 02:24 AM Except from new. Menu dei Motori 01-17-2003, 04:16 AM iīm not sure if i would buy a new one... of course itīs nice but... hm you wait a long time for delivery and you have to pay quite much :D but ok ferrari and lamboīs newer "used" ones cost nearly as much as the factory new ones jsb88 01-17-2003, 11:35 AM yes... The monster has a full TVR service history and comes out a big service inspection at TVR France. Can be seen at TVR France in Opio near NICE or in Monaco. More details, please email me. Nick Live4speed 10-03-2006, 07:16 AM The Cerbera Speed Six is by far the best Cerbera to buy, the AJP6 engine is far superior to the AJP8 and far more reliable, the 4.5 may ha ve alittle more power but it's not as good a drive as the Speed six. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
