2001 Ranger XLT 3.0l V6 automatic Wiley Dixon 04-13-2003, 04:35 PM
What kind of mpg should I expect. ranger xlt 3.0 automatic with power everything. Jetts 04-13-2003, 04:41 PM i got a 01 xlt with the 2.5 inline 4 and i get about 24 mpg yours might be a little higher or a little lower Wiley Dixon 04-13-2003, 04:50 PM Thanks I'm sure you get better than the V6 does. I just did a quick check with it and get at least 16.4 mpg but I hope next time I'll get better because I topped it off to the max and will do the same next time and check it again. Jetts 04-13-2003, 04:56 PM i went like around 240 miles on a tank of gas plus i got a stick. i probally could of got some more miles out of it but i kinda drove it hard a couple times which uses more gas Wiley Dixon 04-13-2003, 06:37 PM I'm not the easiest on the gas pedal either. I'm 65 years old and still drive like when I was 20. Had my share of speeding tickets. Thanks for the info, good luck with the Ranger. Jetts 05-30-2003, 03:58 PM yea i checked around online and im supposed to go like almost 300 but the way i drive it aint even near that i need to lay off the gas pedal, still only fill the tank once a week i drive alot too 6 miles each way to school 20 miles each way to work everyday but still could get better gas milage sloth__316 05-30-2003, 05:15 PM yeah the 300 mpg sould be really nice to have. my truck that is a ranger has bout 280 mpg. which is nice. but yeah i like the ride on that thing i just sit there and lay it down all the way throuth third. i dont drive it that much becuase of the water pump. but i just fix that so it should be just fine know. yeah i dont drive that much to school the miles that i drive is about 3 or 4. but when my work startes up i well be going about 40 to 80 miles a day. but i live in a a charrie town so the good work is the charries. so the truck would be a good thing to drive then i would pay that much on gas. you should be right on the 300. Jetts 05-30-2003, 05:28 PM doesnt the civic get good gas miliage? sloth__316 06-02-2003, 10:45 AM yeah they do get good gas mileage. they get very good mpg. :twoguns: Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
