Loses power over 30

Sporadic issue when you try and go over 30-40 mph. The car loses power and that is as fast as it will go.. The only light on the dash is anti lock and awd disabled (I assume I have a bad wheel bearing - and the light has been on for months).

I changed the fuel filter and this helped for a day. I also added some fuel treatent in case there was water in the tank.

It also seams to do better (will go faster) after the car is driven a bit...not just warmed up but driven....

Can the anti-lock/ awd disabled light make it so the car will not go faster than 30?
Any other ideas? Could this be a blocked catalytic convertor? Would that cause sporadic power loss?

This sounds very much like the cat is plugging up. But it could be a fuel pressure issue. Before replacing the cat have the fuel pressure checked to see if it is correct. The lights are clearly due to a bad wheel bearing and if it were frozen you would know it as the wheel would not turn not just slow you down.

Just wondering if you ever figured your acceleration problem out. My aztek is doing the same thing but at different speeds all the time. I have recently replaced catalytic convertor whick solved the problem for a while but now 8 months later its acting up again. I occasionally use seafoam and things like that to clean the fuel system and relieve it of water but I am clueless on where to start this time. any pointers. Could it be any sensors. I have the same anti-lock problem, did that fix it?? Please Help?
