1998 coolant leak engine front

:uhoh: We were visiting in Dallas recently and bought an immaculate 1998 spotless Texas Chevy conversion van (A travel TIme van )with 24,000 actual miles yes the seller had proof of the milage work receipts and Texas DMV inspection records ...We drove it home to Michigan 1134 miles we got over 18 mpg every time we filled up and one time we got 19.2 with the lousy ethanol in the gas even ... it is a GREAT van !
I checked the antifreeze right away in the van since it gets so cold here and it was fine but it is the orange stuff Dex Cool which I do not like ... Now today I notice a puddle of coolant under the front of the engine mostly on the drivers side but leaking at both sides ...I have not done much looking for the leak it is so cold right now but I did poke my head under there with a flashlight and saw coolant dripping off the front corners of the engine block right where it meets the oil pan it must be running down from above on the engine somewhere ... I read some posts on the forum about coolant leaks in the 5.7 engine BUT they don't refer to leaks at the engine front like we have except for one guy who had a bad water pump gasket ...

My question is what is the most likely places to leak ?

ALSO I am curious since this van is so new to me I was wondering is it a vortex engine with multi-port fuel injection ?

This van replaces our 88 travel van Which had 202,000 miles on it and still ran great !

THANK YOU ! BOB

have seem them leak at the block heater element. pressure test so the leak will be active when you inspect.
