300m Electrical issues

Lately it seems my 300m has been riddled with electrical issues. I can no longer use the key to unlock all doors from the drivers side. The driver's side door interior light, does not come on, bulb checked and is in working condition. The auto down on the drivers window, no longer works, even after resetting it. Power to the analog clock works fine, but the light does not come on. bulb also checked. Power moonroof vents, but to close I have to attempt to open the moonroof and stop it as it closes. driver side door switch works to unlock and lock doors occasionally. I replaced the door actuator and the switch and this problem still exists. I no longer have my powertrain warranty. I'm hoping for some help on diagnosing these problems and or solution and where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

You have quite a set of issues. One thing, the auto driver's window down function goes bad often. Mine has been bad for years, and I know from other forums that this is a common occurrence.

You eliminated one issue with the power locks by replacing the actuator. I am at a loss where to start. Have you searched other forums?

Wish I had a suggestion or two. I'm having an array of electrical probs with my 99 300M too including my driver's side window. I know you didn't have any luck with this but how did you reset yours? I'd like to give that a whirl

Hey TryToHelp, with my M I resolved my issues by having the wire harness replaced leading into the drivers door. as for the auto down, replaced that switch with a brand new one and now my auto down works so apparently it was a problem with both. I forget the reset procedure for the window switch. Have you checked to see if it's your window motor, the 99s were riddle with bad units, if you have never replaced it before, consider yourself lucky it's lasted this long.

Yeh, it seems the motor is acting up as well. I imagine I'll be replacing it. Thanks for the reply Bcurtis
