95 5.7L rough idle and backfiring

19995 Z-71 5.7L is rough idling and backfiring when letting off gas and has loss of power when shifting from 1st to 2nd gears. I replaced the plugs , wires , rotor and distributer cap and still havning the problem

have you tried setting the timing?
