Intrigue project

Hi, I'm new to this forum thing!!! I'm not sure if this has been asked before but I wanna start a project car. I love the Intrigue and wanna put a beefier mortor/trans in one. Any recommendations? Thanks

Probably the easiest swap would be to get ahold of the drivetrain from a car that had the supercharged 3800 aka the L67...I have no idea whats necessary to put one in an Intrigue, but I know many of the cars that share the same chassis as the Intrigue came with that engine from the factory, and a lot of folks swap them in afterward. Cars in question would be the Grand Prix, Regal, Impala, and Monte Carlo...enough googling and you should find something.

That engine will pull strong even bone stock, usually good for high 14s. Start modding and sky is the limit. http://intense-racing.com has a 3800-powered Grand Prix that runs 8's :)

What engine do you currently have? If you have the 3.8, some folks do an L67 top-end,which is a little less labor intensive....youd still need to beef up your current transmission though.
