98 olds intrigue 3800 lower intake mani removal

removed all bolts?
won't budge ..prying won't work...... can't see any more bolts except 4 studs with torx heads sticking out of mani......... do these have to be removed also?

LittleHoov may have resolved this, but there are bolts in the inside corners of the lower intake easily missed.

Yeah I wasnt for sure until I re-read the material, but yes maxwedge is right. I sent the poster a link to a thread on another forum with detailed information on this procedure with pictures etc.

There is some info on this forum as well, but its not as good in my humble opinion.

THANKS......... your are correct......... oil covering each..... impossible to see without cleaning first........ Haynes was no help for this engineLittleHoov may have resolved this, but there are bolts in the inside corners of the lower intake easily missed.

Glad you got it all figured out! Its a good feeling fixing something yourself instead of paying someone else to do it isnt it?

Make sure you seal those inner bolts also.
