Solutions for New Steering Wheel

My steering wheel on my 99 is almost worn-out. I tried a cover from Wal-Mart and that made the wheel to thick for comfort. Has any-one replace there steering wheel with new or?

Sounds like a big project... Mine was pretty bad too, so I bought a Wheelskins leather cover. They're a bit pricey and you have to stitch it on, but the result was well worth it. Everyone I ride with thinks my Intrigue came from the factory like that.

I bought mine direct from them (wheelskins.com (http://www.wheelskins.com/original_wheelskin.php)). Don't know if you can get them cheaper from a 3rd party or not...

If you decide to go the wheelskins route, I highly recommend you do the baseball stitch, it looks the most professional, IMO. This page has some good instructions: http://www.dccarcare.com/tipowk/tipowk19.html

BTW, you can request free sample swatches (never thought I'd say swatches...) from wheelskins to find a color that fits with your interior. I found a color that matched my trim quite well, which really helped make it look factory.

Thank you for the info. I think I will go with this solutions. One other question did you have problems with the thick square spokes on the Intrigues steering wheel.
