i just changed my rear disc brakes on my silverado 2500. afterwards, while driving, i heard a grinding or rubbing noise. i took the tires off and couldnt find anything. any ideas?

the pad spring clips are installed wrong in most cases...the rotor heat shield may also have been bent scraping on the rotor.

prob the rotor backing plate, they tend to rot and get distorted.

double check your backing plates look for any bare metal spots on the backing plate when you remove your rotor, if nothing there i would check the e brake shoe.
