Factory Battery Removal 2002 Intrigue How??

I need some suggestions on how to lift the factory battery out off the tray. I've removed the fender cross brace, cables, and bottom battery holder. Battery is free from the tray, but for the life of me, I can't seem to tilt it to get it to clear the corner of the battery that is behind the radiator support.

Surely the battery must be possible without draining the cooling hoses?

Factory battery has no straps or handles at the top of the battery.

Any suggestions would be helpful--

Thanks--

I can't remember how I did it... I think I had to tip it towards the engine and then lift the end closest to the fuse center up first and drag it out at a pretty extreme angle.

I just did mine a few weeks ago I had to tilt one side up and pull it out the long way. My battery didn't leak all over the place but before you take yours out that way I would check to make sure there are no visible cracks or leaks. Also be careful of the bundle of wires that run along top or side I yanked mine to hard and loosened a few wires so just be careful. Putting the new one in is easier than taking the old one out I can guaranty that.

Remove strut support and unclip harness, fusebox move aside optional, unbolt terminals negative first then positive, unbolt bracket that secures down the battery to the frame out it goes. Clean up the area and the terminals then all back in.
