High pitched squeal or screech from up front?

Hey ive got a 2001 camaro z28. it started this high pitched squeal or something from up front. i didnt know if camaro's had this kind of problem with pulley's, belts, waterpump bearings or anything else. i just got it. ive heard a belt going bad before, this just sounds different. anyone have any ideas. thanks.

It could be your belt tensioner pulley going bad. Does the sound increase as you accelerate?.... well here is another idea to think about. If you wanna test this part, what you can do is spray some wd40 behind the pulley and see if the noise changes. if the noise goes away,then there's your problem.
