Wierd ????? about Radio

Okay so I have an 02 Intrigue and I have the newer style radio that oldsmobile put in the intrigues with the amp and all that good stuff. Theres a specific feature that is driving me INSANE..... There are several different Genres that you can choose each sounds different Mine are Jazz, Country, Rock, pop, and Manual. On FM1 The preset for every channel is jazz, it drives me nuts I want it to stay on manual and now I have to click audio several times everytime I start the car or change the channel and then go back.On FM2 it's preset to manual. I would look in the owners manual, But i bought it used without one. PLEASE HELP!!!:screwy:

You should be able to preset manual mode for each pushbutton. Try pushing the manual mode for the tone first, then hold the button in (the preset button) until the display shows the proper frequency and there is an audible beep from the radio indicating that the radio has saved the frequency. That is the procedure direct from the manual. Hope that helps!
