97 express 1500 coolant leak

i have a 97 express with 5.7l today i noticed a puddle under where the reservoir overflow line is. i dont see any leaks in the hose on that side. it wasnt overfilled and the temp gage has has been in the same spot it has always been. i put a new water pump on it like 2 months ago and havet had any problems till now. the wife overheated it last week,but not bad, when the belt broke. as soon as she saw the voltage drop she pulled into a parking lot and shut it down said the temp never redlined. i replaced the belt and it was fine till i saw the fluid under it today. the heat still works fine. any ideas?

Drive it around a bit to pressurize the system then check for leaks with a flashlight.

I have found that, often, a couple of thousand miles after installing radiator hoses, the hose clamps need a little tightening up.... or else they will start to seep fluid.

Given you replaced your waterpump recently, you may just need to snug down all the clamps a bit.

i found what it was. radiator is leaking :( thanks for the suggestion.
