Hi all!
I am getting ready to buy a 1994 Jaguar XJ12. The car comes with only one key.
My question is what do I need to do to get the keyless entry remote AND how the heck does the alarm work? Is there a remote for that too? I do know there is an on/off switch for the alarm and thats all. I am a complete newbie to the Jag family so please bare with me! LOL
I am use to a typical viper type system where the remote locks the doors and sets the alarm both.
BTW, the person I am buying it from only owned it for a short time and never bothered to find any of this out, so that is why I need to know all this before I buy the car.
I have searched for keyless remotes and found oriiginals at around 90.00 but on ebay there are some others for like 29.00 but are not the original product...but I still couldn't find anything on the alarm?
Thanks Guy's :-)
peace out,
