Thank you all. So, moving on here is some new pictures. It was the first time that I applied decals on varnish and it was a breathlessness. First that the surface didn't hold the water, second that the decal almost glued that immediately in the varnish, I had to be exactly when putting the decal and pull the paper already in the right position, if it was not a new battle to put back on the position. Did anybody already go by that? The result was good, but no as I wanted. I am thinking about doing as if the car finished of run, with dirt, peeled, scratches, etc... As I will do over the varnish, if it is not good I will clean everything.

Fantastic work here! Like the color! Yours are much better than mine!
Anyway I have all three Tamiya C-Class, but the decal of the D2 is ruined; Sonax's almost ruined; and now working on the ProMarkt. I am just wondering how you would polish/sand the intake at the rear (the part with the BBS decal).

Cheers!

I figure out what happened, the hardener label says "good thru nov/09" and I think it's dead. So I bought a new bottle and I will clear coat again, hope everything go well.

hueb s the color is great and the decals are good, the problem was the hardener and the surface is a little sticky.
ttwk thank you. try to sunbath for a couple of days and it will vanish the yellowish, if they are cracked try using microscale micro liquid decal film to hold everything together. this was one of the reasons that I decided to conclude all of the body of the kits that I have stocked first. talking about the intake, first I glued the piece than I fill the gaps with putty and sanded. I made a sand tool with the waribashi (the Japanese wood fork :)) ) cut one in the middle and glue a stripe of sandpaper on it, very ease to use and fit the intake entry as well.

Thanks for the advice! Nice color there!

Sorry for asking one more question about old decal: I have the experience that no matter how long I soak the decal into the water, the decal film just do not detach from the backing paper. What can I do to solve this? Many thanks and good luck for your progress!

Cheers!

Thanks! Is that meant to dissolve the old glue that stick the film and the backing paper together? I should have thought of that! Thanks again!

Cheers!
