CFing done... LOTS of it.... :iceslolan
Microscale for everything. I got a sheet of their new stuff TF44, but it's way too big. I used it on the bottom anyway... Rest of it is TF34 with a light coat of smoke on it.

Tried something new for the seat. Not elite results, but pretty fair "in scale". In real life it looks like very fine grains of sand sprinkled on the surface.
Second pic is just a thin coat of Tamiya Matte Black over the top.

Thats one place i forgot to add carbon was the side window frames. :banghead:
Progress looks really good, the cf does look way out of scale on the chassis, but the other cf looks spot on. As for the seats, i think that paint would really look good on valve covers. Maybe a thicker coat will give it a grainier look. Keep us posted, as it looks like its going to look great once done.
BTW When you do the door hinges, screw the two pieces together first, then glue the parts (Actual hinge 2 parts)to the doors, then lastly screw the doors to the car (two screws for each hinge). I found this was the easiest, and less troubling way to put the doors on. Also your soppoused to leave the screws loose that attach to the roof or else they won't open. Hope this helps.

Brilliant, those photographs look really professional too. What camera are you using?
