No reverse, 2500 HD 6.0 gas. Everything else ok (PND123) any ideas where to start for diagnostics.

with a GM drive train scanner you can get the failure codes,,,this could be the transmission electrical connector or wiring....

if the transmission is operating in fwd perfectly ...fluid is good and was frequently replaced/serviced,,it could very well be minor electrical problem..

Thanks Jcat; I lived on Timothy ave in Glendale sq. for a number of years. We dont have access to a GM scanner any educated ideas or are we commited to getting the codes. We tried nutral saftey swich to no avail.

I lived there since 51...moving out this month,,,,getting to dark around here...

the scanner can be checked at dealer or a good equipt transmission shop....or just check the wires going into the tranny,,,and connector...
