Cooling fan issues

I have a 96 3.8 firebird. Recently one of my heater hoses just snapped in half at one of the seemingly pointless plastic connects in the middle of the hose and spewed coolant everywhere. After i fixed the hose and flushed the system putting new coolant in it( which btw was the green stuff, i heard it's better because dex corrodes the internals, I'd like to get an opinion on that too), the radiator fans started acting funny. before they seemed to turn on full blast around 180. now the only turn on at 210, and they're on low. when i turn the ac on they turn on too, but still at low. What could it be? I assume there's no short seeing as how the respond to the ac and at 210. but my car NEVER got near 210 before my hose broke, so somethings up. any idea greatly appreciated

210* is the normal operating temp unless someone installed a aftermarket thermostat which opens at a lower temp. :dunno:
