Change the lock cylinder to the new column or the PassKey II won't allow it to run. I've been known to put the original lock cylinder with the key taped into it back up under the kick panel with it plugged into the harness and leave it there to make the PassKey system happy, and abort it in the column, as this is where most of the problems with it come from as the wiring to the chip reader in the cylinder will fatigue and break after so many key cycles.
