In the market, something quick, but not too fast.

Hello, my name is Marcus. I live in south east Michigan, and am in the market for a new car. I have a 7000 dollar budget, but the less I spend the better. Here is what I want: Something quicker then regular cars, but not something excessive. Has to be either american, or european. Don't ask. No SUV's or trucks.

I've been looking at a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3, a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, and 2000 Monte Carlo SS. Post your thoughts, suggestions, or anything that might help me pick out a car. Right now I drive a 98 blazer LT. Its not very quick, and I feel unconfortable driving an SUV (this one even being a small one). I plan on getting a car, and I have a side job that enables me to put a bit of money into it after I get it. I like sleek, nice looking cars. Nothing ghetto, but I don't mind street styled vehicles.

Thanks for reading, can't wait to read your responses!
