Taurus hit while parked, now won't startmimssmim 07-14-2009, 06:09 PM i have a 2000 taurus (ffv) flex fuel vehicle:banghead:. yesterday somebody rearended my car while it was parked now it wont start i checked the spark plugs and they are firing i also checked if there was fuel getting to the plugs and there is i checked all the fuses under the hood and in the cabin and they are all good im losing my friggen mind here :runaround: 60 corvette 07-14-2009, 06:48 PM its got a safety switch for the fuel pump in the trunk it has to be reset shorod 07-14-2009, 11:36 PM I agree that the likely culprit is the fuel pump inertia cutoff switch. Are you sure you have good fuel pressure?
