...has painted a body and has opened with a varnish. The Varnish has already dried up, as soon as there will be time - shall start to put decks.
Unfortunately, photos on this machine too little, I shall be grateful if can help from a photo of the bottom and the engine of this car.

Work above decks Has begun. Decks quite good, but that from them asks that Revell is easier sadism, on such angular surface it is so much bends?!!

Who has thought up many thanks to that person for us Sol and Set, I and earlier used them, but completely estimate their advantage could just now... For reference, there is a book called "Rally Giants - Fiat 131 Abarth" (publisher: Veloce) by Graham Robson. Lots of good pictures.

All, an epic with basket decals was completed, though and not unreserved, but all the same by my victory :D, honestly speaking, when I first time gave a glance on a sheet with decals, I and disbelieved that for me with them something will turn out. But I did it. Now a basket will prepare for dissection varnish.

If all those different color blues are a decal then you did a hellava job!!!

It's getting better and better, this decal job is absolutely fabulous !!
I have this kit, I really hesitate to use the decals when I'll build it... You achieve an excellent result, really close to a paint job ! Congratulations :thumbsup:

guiwee, thank's! Yes, all those different color blues are a decal. :banghead: Paint while on this model only one - white. I for the first time collided with such greater complex decals. Viva Sol & Set!!! :lol2:

Sorry to long absence, but there simply was not time for a favourite hobby...
Some already it was probably given up for lost on this project :iceslolan , but it is not, he living, not without problems but moves up. The protracted absence was caused yet and that at painting of elastics of glasses, a ribbon tore away placed dec's, but here sounding boards are tinted more or less, a basket is again rubbed out and now again will go under varnish!

Nice save on the decal, you matched the color really well.

For the roll cage padding check out hakkfan's thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=747875&page=6). I don't think he mentioned what he used for the padding but you could try sending him a pm.

But as the saying goes, we do not search easy ways. I however planned to cut away from a radiator a ventilator and to do it, and here yet and this problem. Decided to cut away intercooler for that to open out a radiator (by more look like a radiator side) to the engine. But to the end it did not decide a problem with setting, on it think to cut away all superfluous from a radiator, that to do him as possible more thin. Possibly that from a ventilator in general it will be necessary to renounce. It is possible certainly to cut away the front wall of motor compartment yet, but it will entail the heap of troubles yet. Ready to hear out all considering on that score.

When ground off two glasses and almost all of fingers of right arm, decided to relax and look at glazing of basket. But I was waited by a next surprise!!!! Framework is not inserted in glazing!!!!:swear: AAAAAA!!!!!!! ( shot oneself three times...)

I see it's the same as the Italeri kit.
I had the same problem on my alitalia fiat from Italeri.
watch out for the fitting from chassis to body, it's also a little bad.

Details will no longer be on a pendant, remained only here and there to tint. Regarding bars understand certainly, that them and it will not be evidently, but... did not hold out...

on the much numeral requests of colleagues :-), seats were done, very much they caused critics, clean it, painted a structural paint, thank you to Victor aka zvizdar, and unsealed mat varnish. Then, taking advantage of technology of aka Andepu, began to make straps. Actually here, one seat is ready...
