How do I identify my alternator? What is in a 3.0 Vulcan Automatic 2003 Taurus?

If you remove the alternator there should be some sort of markings on it to identify its amperage output. 120 amp is pretty common for the DOHC 3.0 and the 110 amp is pretty common for the OHV 3.0
