Question on break-in periodCowherPower 07-02-2009, 11:11 PM Ok, so I finally found a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe that I like, but it already has 300 miles on it. I'm in northern Virginia, and it turns out that the dealer did a swap with a dealer in Pennsylvania and they drove the car down. I don't know anything about break-in periods, but I can't imagine that it's good to put a brand new car on the interstate and drive it 300 miles. Should I be concerned, or are break-in periods mostly a thing of the past? Would it be risky to buy this car? Thanks, Jay trim250 08-06-2009, 04:04 AM In my opinion break in periods are a thing of the past, and you still get the manufauer warranty. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
