2004 2.7l v6 Tranny issue?

Hey there have a slight issue perhaps someone can help me I tried a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have a 04 v6 2.7l Flexfuel Stratus about a month ago while on the highway as I was approaching traffic I came to a full stop. When I then tried to accelerate the car it just reved up and then it would shift. At first I thought nothing of it now it got more frequent.

I noticed it would seem to do this after I have started the car and start to drive off I would come to a full stop after about 30mph and it would do the same thing again. I would rev it up to about 2000rpms and the tranny would shift however the tranny doesn't feel like its the issue the tranny doesn't make any loud noises or clunking sounds.

Any help would be appreciated the car only has 86k miles on the engine thanks in advance.

have you checked the ECU for fault codes? if you don't have one head for your local auto parts store and they should have one to run a check on it.

you probably have a front pump and converter issue, i think there is a TSB
