very. you'll have to move the whole entire engine management system along. do at your own risk. i spoke.

ok, this is how it works - or does not, as i came across quite a few troubled owners that attempted much less years difference swap - and failed.
2001 powertrain is controlled by ECM, TCM, and BCM.
engine, transmission, and body. unless it all mates and matches, you are going nowhere,:nono: or going with lotsa trouble down the road. :banghead:
so, if you say you have it all, meaning - powertrain AND engine management systems, then the rest of it is a question of welding skills, acetilane torch availability, couple sledge hammers, prybars, and maybe few suspension brackets custom made. one or two very strong rednecks will be handy either.

some guy fit corvette V8 into a Civic. like i said before - time, $$, and tools will fit anything into anything.

I agree it takes time, money and the tools needed.I have seen a Mercedes Benz with a Hemi drivetrain out of a 1968 Dodge under the hood

I am going to say that the motor and trans should bolt right in. You might have to mess with the trans mount an cross member. As for the electrics you are on your own.
