1995 Bonneville

Drove my car from Iowa to Arizona about three months ago. Started having trouble with it just a few weeks back. After I first started the car, the engine seemed less powerful until a few minutes had gone by, at which point the car returned to normal. Just a couple of days ago, I was stopped at a red light and almost to work, when the engine started revving up and then trying to die. When it revved up, it was doing it enough so that it was fighting against the brake. When I put my foot on the gas, the engine never died, but it was seemed as though it was trying to. I managed to drive it all the way home that night, and the problem started from the moment I started the car. Even at faster highway speeds it continued acting like it was going to die out on me. It's now parked in my driveway until I can figure out what to do with it. Can anyone help?

You need to have the car scanned for codes.. Look for a Possible P0361( some scanners will see it as a 361 code ) While others will see it as a P1361 Code.. So in any even have the car scanned to see if there are any codes stored in the PCM..
