My 98 saturn SL2 will not start. Its not my alternator or starter or my battery.I was having this problem for a while;to where if i tapped on my inside fuse box it would start. My interior, dome lights, chime and my power doors wont work. But my power windows, wipers and headlights do work.I have checked all of my fuses and they are fine except it seems my last bottom row of fuses are not working.(door lock/unlock/chime/dome light)I know this becasue i hooked up a wire that runs my black lights to the fuses at the top ex.(wiper, windows) and it comes on.But my bottom fuses nothing.Any help would be appericated.

when you say wont start do you mean wont turn over or turns over but wont run? if you have keyless ent there is module that controls door locks and dome light but that doesnt control starter. there is a 30 amp fuse feeding the ign switch that feeds starter relay which is grounded through aslice pack left body yel/blk on starter relay should show ground if you use a vom meter the b plus goes thru clutch or neutral switch or both if stick shift then to starter hold in coil allowing gear to turn eng.if turns over you need to check fuel pressure on rail and spark.

I am having the same problem. My starter was clicking so I replaced my starter. It started fine for a couple days and then it wouldn't start again. I checked all fuses and found the yellow wire that goes to the DERM (Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module) did not have power. I by passed this with another wire and it starts right up. But at the same time my automatic locks and my dome light quit working. Can you help!!! Thanks
