First new Fisher Models car kit in several years, and a "missing link" in Le Mans Ferrari kits, so i had to buy two of these  Since it is the first of these here, i made a small review.

Kit comes in sturdy cardboard box:

Instructions are photographs with explanations on each stage of build. For a kit as simple as this, this is very informative way to make instructions.

Body looks great, and IMO has correct proportions.

Typical "chassis" of Fisher Models kit, interior has some detail, but underside is flat with no detail at all.

Wheels are great castings, only the holes need to be opened (as usual with resin kits). Tires look a lot like Fujimi 330P4 tires, and are great quality soft, rubberlike material.

Smaller resin parts, quite a lot of detail parts, light lenses, dashboard and spoilers and tabs. Minimal amount of flash, and great quality castings again.

Kit includes two sets of vacformed clear parts.

Small PE fret includes quite good exterior and interior details.

Decals include markings for all three versions of this car: '66 Le Mans, '67 Le Mans test day and '67 Le Mans. Usual good quality Decals from Fisher.

Overall, it looks like another winner from Fisher Models. This kit shows that a great resin/multimedia kit doesn't have to have zillion white metal parts. Just well thought and well cast parts can make a good model.

Some progress pics also, so far i have painted and polished body, wheels, spoiler and chassis. Body surface was a bit rough, but sanding with 800 grit paper took care of that. Body is painted with automotive spray, some rough spots sanded with 3600 micro mesh and final polishing done with Finishers compounds. Final waxing is not done yet.

It's one of Paul's best to date. His stuff is always great. He has more versions coming and a few surprises.

It is a very nice kit at a very good price. Better than a Studio 27 kit at half the price. When Paul Fisher makes a car kit it captures the look of the real car as well as anyone can do.

He has some other cars in planning including the 1965 version of this car.

Interior is mostly done, needs a couple fixes though. Fisher tells to paint seat centers with either red, blue or black. Well, black looks a bit boring, and i think that blue was not used at this time so red it is.

$95, i bought mine straight from Fisher

What's with the shovel in the cabin!?!? :o

In sixties there were sand barriers at Le Mans curves to slow down cars that ran off track. Many times cars stuck totally in the sand -> they started carrying shovels onboard.
