so ive had my 1994 camaro Z28 for maybe two months if not a little more. never has it given me any problems (i would say that i know the basic mechanics of cars), but recently it started to over heat really fast once i start to drive it. its gotten so bad that i believe it has actually damaged my abs sensor and cut off my turn signals as well..they dont work at all (even on the dash). my friends dad knows a couple profesional as well as "back yard"mechanics and they all said the thermostat. i changed that, my air filter, and did an oil change...still overheats. at firt i thought maybe it was that my injectors were burning out and it wasnt running properly. The guy i bought it from had installed aftermarket injectors and never got around to putting in a 58mm throttle body to add more air to it.

any help on what could be going wrong? i want to get her back on the road running smoothly

are you sure the engine is actually overheating? it sounds like you may have electrical problems that are messing with your temp gauge. if you are overheating, i don't see how its messing up the turn signals and abs, but electrical problems may be keeping your radiator fan from working, and your other problems.

squeeze the top hose when its running if u dont feel the pressure then it was the thermostat. for your blinkers just replace the flasher its about 3 bucks. as for the temp guage open the hood and look by the exhaust manifold on the driverside and see if the plug is on the sending unit. The heat will crack the plug and the vibrations will make it break contact.
