Pentastar Key Blanks

Hi guys! Well I finally went to a junkyard and found a 91 LeBaron with the keys in it. Luckily, the key operated every lock on the car perfectly. Having transplanted all 5 lock cylinders on to my 93 LeBaron, I went to a Chrysler dealership, and asked them if they could cut me a valet key from the vin number of the donor car. They said the car was too old, and they no longer had the key information. Furthermore, they had no valet key blanks. Upon asking them to just copy the key I had, so that I could have the factory-type key with a Pentastar on each side, the parts man told me the only key blanks they had of the type had the Pentastar on one side and the Dodge Ram logo on the other. Considering I went to a dealer to get a key, I want it to be right. I insulted the 5 star dealership and left.

A search on ebay and on google has turned up no decent results for the key blanks with Pentastars on both sides. 2 potentials on ebay but that's it. Does anyone know of anywhere I could find key blanks, with the black plastic cover, with a Pentastar on each side of it??

Start telephoning locksmiths in your area. Typically they have much greater key knowledge than a dealer and access to more key blanks than a dealer, too.

They may be able to cut a valet key, too.

I know that dealing with dealers (so to speak) can be frustrating, but your request is pretty unusual, and if the guy at the counter can't help, is that really a reason to be rude? That guy cannot give you something that Chrysler does not supply.

Hmm locksmiths you say? I'll give that a try. And I don't care, if I go to a dealer for anything, it better be absolutely right. They make you pay out the @$& for their perfection anyway.
