hey all.. this is my second build im posting here in AF..
its a tamiya warsteiner clk gtr...
http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/1064/topx.jpg
ive planned to have its driver door and front cowl open.. and a little close to full detail (hopefully):)
in this build im gonna be using this pe set from hobby design bought from HLJ http://hlj.com/product/HYDHD02-0058 (which i hate coz they released it only like a week after i bought the set from S27:crying:)
then some carbon decals from SMS which BOTH havent been delivered... and other tidbits from my junkyard..

sooo... here it is then...
plis feel free to throw any critics and comment on any, or every crap u cud find..:licka:
and oh, its gonna be a awefully slow build so... dont bother to wait on any quick updates... haha

body parts are cut...
http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/5179/img1009g.jpg

then as the gaps are way too big coz i cut the parts using a hobby knife instead of a modelling saw, i put a layer of 0.3mm styrene around the hole and on the front section...
http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/510/img1001u.jpg
uh actually the 1st pic shows the almost finished one after everything is cut trimmed sanded and cleaned (except puttying the freaking tiny gaps).. hehe

the door panel molded in the cockpit piece is cut, then some styrene tripes are added to build a base for some stinky sticky putty...
http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/7924/img1003q.jpg

hurray~ finally close to finishing after a few gruesome days of testfittings..
http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/4194/img1012l.jpg

heres one after the stupid all-in-one-huge-chunk-a-plastickycrap piece headers are trimmed...
http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/8555/img1011x.jpg
http://img2.imageshack.us/img2/8364/img1008o.jpg

all the moded body panels together... most gaps are gone!! hehe

here take a look yourself...

its got 3 frets, which includes all the things u would die for that S27 dont include.. disc brakes, suspension parts, swingarms etc etc etc

next is the electrical boxes!
i cudnt stand how the kit's looks so i decided made my own version! i dont think its any good or accurate but i just like to build it.. and its my 1st time of using top studio's electrical connector set and hobby design's turned connectors:biggrin:

so here goes...
heres the ref pic...
(from nannini's car and i cudnt find the other car's interior...)
http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/9065/clkinterior1vi.jpg

heres the comparison:
http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/6084/mg4949.jpg
http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/5493/mg4952.jpg

ok its a bit far off:sly:
uh... the boxes are abit too thin arent they?? anyone???
critiques plis...

dont worry about the wierd twisted wire.. eevrything will be covered with shrink tube once every cables are completed...

everything is just to0 damn small in 1/24!!!!:banghead:

Looks pretty damn good to me!!Why don't you put alittle strip of plastic card(about 10 thou-0.25mm)on the box's to give it a little more depth if thats what your after but in my eyes it looks good.
