Very nice start !
I also started this model years ago (and never continued it... one more...) and also with opening doors (what scared me a little at that time because it was the first time I did it) and I intended to add a maximum of details especially on the engine, but I still lack some pictures so I still haven't dare to come back to it.
I will follow this closely.

A real pleasure to find Dakar models here, after the fantastic 405 from Sam, a great 911 conversion into Dakar rothmans livery (sorry I can't remember builder's name) and the Mercedes 280G already seen some months (years ?) ago, it will be a big pleasure to follow this nex Dakar model ! :thumbsup:

I too love these old rally cars. very hard to find here in the states.
There must be a surplus of them overseas or something because I never see them here.
