Nice choice of subjects!! I like the Bosica kits, but Feeling 43 are hard to build. I had one and the test fit was not very good.

I finished a Hiro kit for the Ferrari Expo last week, a modified Hiro 1968 312 turned into the Monaco 1967 Bandini car. Its on page 6 of models from Ferrari Expo 2009 at www.kaz43.fotki.com (http://www.kaz43.fotki.com)

It does seem to take forever sometimes.

Nice work Tom,
The Feeling43 kits are really nice and deatailed, I'm sure they took forever to master the kit parts. You are right though they are very tough to fit up and get everything right. I'd really like to finish one before I get the burnout syndrom........and start another one!!!!

wow...I'm very interested to see one of these built. But I must say the quality looks crappy for such a high priced kit

good luck

Your right it does (look) crappy......but with camera in macro mode just about everything it captures looks crappy. The parts for being so small are actually pretty good. They just require alot of attention to be perfect. The resin they use is also really hard and very brittle, and with all kits of all mfg's to do it right you have to build it before you build it. That is where I ussually end up losing interest......fortunatley a job switch has afforded me more time for the hobby! I'm hoping to go the distance with this one and maybe get a fire lit to finish some other projects already in progress.......especially the Bosica 156/85!

Where's this Ferrari Expo being held?
Its held at a large Ferrari/Maserati dealer near Chicago every year. 2009 was the 28th year for the Ferrari Expo model/literature/art show and 4th year for the model contest.
