I have a 93 lumina that would start and run but then after running for about 10 minuetes it would just stop untill it cooled down, then it would restart and do it all over again. So I replaced the ICM (Ignition Control Module) and it fixed the problem completely. TO repllace the ICM all you gotta do is disconnect the battery then take off the holder for the air filter. After that take out the six screws holding in the 3 coils and it comes right off. The ICM cost me $93 after tax and took all of 45 min to replace. Oh if you have a fan shroud take that off as well I didnt.

Now I have noticed my fans wont kick on and I have no idea why. Im also getting antifreeze on my serpentine belt but just on the side closest to the engine what could cause that? so if anyone could help me with that it would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to AF. The cooling fans only come on at 222 degrees or as demanded when using the a/c. The coolant leak could be the water pump.

Which engine do you have? On the 3.1, you remove the driver side fan, 3 wire plugs & 3 screws holding the ICM to the engine, then change the coils on the bench. Be sure to use thin coat of dielectric silicone grease between coils & ICM.
I agree could be water pump. How much is it losing?

Its loosing very little just a thin strip on the bottom part of the belt. After driving it yesterday im also noticing that even though it stays running now its running very rough and occasionaly sputters like it wants to stall, any ideas?
