2001 1500hd 2wd transmission problem

My driveway has a slight incline and if I park my truck with the front end higher than the rear, it will not go into reverse. This condition occurs usually when it sits for days at a time. I have to shift into neutral and coast down the driveway. After about 2 minutes of sitting, it will slowly lock in reverse. I have been parking the truck in the opposite direction (with the front lower than the rear) and the condition does not occur. Trans Fluid level checks fine. Any comments or suggestions?

drop tranny pan make sure they used the correct tranny filter....use the vin to insure that this is correct.....m30 is deep pan if you use the other type ,,,non deep pan this may occur....

I seen this with my first fluid change ...these trucks use different filters...you must use the correct OEM design not some aftermarket hack job..

bet you money you have back leak from TC due to leaking input shaft seal.

Would this be all internal? I see no fluid on my driveway. Is this an expensive transmission repair?
