ok My car is a 94 Firebird with a 3.4l in it with new head gaskets etc So i was driving this car as a daily driver it started running real weird missing, when i gave it gas it bogged kinda acted like it was flooding but choking at the same time so winter was coming i decided too park it check it in the spring. Well its spring and i decided too get her out on the road went to do a tune up the plugs with only about 4k miles on them were fouled bad with gunk and completely black, so i tooke em out cleaned them up etc. I then moved on to the oil when i drained the oil it ran out like water it was Milky and smelt realy bad like gas(oil was changed maybe 1 month tops before storage) So i changed the oil and cleaned the plugs fired her up and it ran HORRIBLE still. it was cutting out with a occasional backfire I tried takin her down the road she about stalled on me and when i gunned it the car acted like it was choking any suggestion on why there would be gas in my oil and why the sudden Change how the car is running. All my pendulum, head, intake, valve covers etc have maybe 6-7k miles on them. My first guess was maybe a bad intake gasket but i need some suggestions. Any help would be nice Thank You

the smoke is whitish to blue since it burns oil. Not black And my o2 senosrs are bad but theyve been bad for a while

the car is running to rich and gas is getting past the rings and the miss and burning oil is a good sign of bad rings run a compression test

also what is the reason the gaskets were replaced

I replaced the gaskets because i bought the car for 1k off a buddy of mine he said he thought they were blown so I decided too drive it around couldnt get it too stop overheating, it was also idling 500 over wut it should. so i changed all the gaskets and it fixed my problems even though i dont think the head gaskets were bad i still replaced them since i had the engine apart neway. I did a compression test today and number 2 is only runnin 50 psi where as the rest are around 95-100 psi ne suggestions on if it is a gasket or rings?

you need to run a leak down test on that cylinder you can easily modify your compression gauge to do this just replace the gauge with a air hose fitting pump air in the cylinder and start listening for air open the oil filler it the air is coming from there then its rings if it comes out the exhaust or intake bad valve it it pressurizes the cooling system then you got bad head or head gasket

if it over heated it could have warped the heads or cracked it

i dont believe the overheating was the problem since i put about 5k miles on it after i fixed that problem but im going too run a leak down test and keep u posted
