Hi,

Just purchased my first jeep and I love it, got a few problems but well worth my money, anyways, the temp guage on the dash is stuck at 100 where should I start or trobuleshoot options to fix this?

Thanks!

I would unhook the temp sending unit wire and start her up to see if the gauge falls back to zero. If it doesn't fall back to zero your gauge is probably frozen. If it does fall to zero, shut her off and reconnect the wires. Start her up again and see what happens. If it goes right back to 100, it is either a bad sending unit or short in the wires.
Can't let her run too long because it gets to 100 real quick.

The guage doesnt have a Zero, it starts at 100 and doesnt move, most likely from what your saying the guage is frozen.

Wasn't familiar with this particular gauge readings but it seems that it is the temp sending unit as opposed to the gauge being frozen.
