98 breeze rear brakes don't release

I just did a brake job on my sons 98 Plymouth breeze. When I pressure up the system the rear brakes don't release. I've done the brakes b4 and never had a problem. With the drums off I can't even push the cylinders back together. They don't release until I crack the bleeder. What's going on? Thanks

r3emove your brake shoes and inspect the shoe pads on the backing plate ,you may find a line running thru the pad the shoe may be sticking or hanging up in this line , this is what happened on my daughter 98 breese
remove the backing plate weld up the pad area and grind it down flat again
this is a common problem with the breeze
i went to a junk yard to get a different backing plate and that one was bad also

The problem ended up being the short brake line between the rear brakes and the connection mounted on the frame. It's about a foot long, rubber with metal ends. It was suggested that in all the moving around a small piee of crap got loose and blocked the fluid from going back. I replaced it and problem solved. Thanks
