Your engine bay has 1st IMO. Great job! :bandit: bah humbug 03-29-2003, 07:48 AM Originally posted by Vyacheslav Oh my goodness *falls down like a piece of wood* :p Nice color. IMO better than steves, steves has got to be 3rd. Great job on the engine bay. But this one does have the best engine! chaos 03-29-2003, 12:10 PM Most of the better supras seen on AF are all differently built - this is one is awesome in its own right!! :) Excellent job - love the engine detail. IMO, I'd have gone without the wing, but fantastic job nevertheless!!! SpoonMan Dos 03-29-2003, 03:33 PM Thanks for all the comments guys. I think I put a considerable amount of work into this kit, and the results show. The finish is Silverleaf topped with Model Masters High Gloss Clearcoat #2936. Stunning results. As far as the mold lines go, I slightly overlooked it. But hey, nothing is perfect. Last but not least, I would like to think Tonio for coming out to the Model contest today. He brought out some awesome cars and was really a cool person to talk with. My next project is................................................ .......................................:flash: ssibangse 03-29-2003, 04:01 PM damn dude.. amazing work.. where'd u get the spare wing? did u just have a Sard Supra lying around? SpoonMan Dos 03-29-2003, 04:08 PM Originally posted by ssibangse where'd u get the spare wing? did u just have a Sard Supra lying around? Actually I did. No really, I was going to build both cars one after another, but this car took longer than expected. The Sard Supra will be a street version with a GT wing(since I took this one). kunta 03-29-2003, 04:35 PM Looks nice! great work on engine bay. tonioseven 03-29-2003, 04:51 PM I've seen it in person and the pictures are nice but they don't do this model justice! Dave ESPI 03-29-2003, 06:08 PM You sir get a 5 ! Awesome !.. the only thing that could make it better is if ya oxidized the tip and a little bit of the exhaust line ! try some transparent raw umber or Burnt umber.. that would make it "tits !" awesome job d00d cagman 03-30-2003, 04:30 AM Now thats how a real streetracecar looks, not like that glitzy copbait in the fast and the furious.
