Electric Brake Controller

My 2001 Silverado 1500 didn't come with the factory tow package. I installed the plug in the rear several years ago from the factory harness they had tucked up into the frame rail above the rear bumper. I never had a need for electric trailer brakes before now. I got a controller with the silverado plug on the end that I plugged into the box behind the steering column. Following the diagram I have it plugged into the trailer brake spot and when I put on the brake the red light comes on the controller so I assume it's in the right spot. I went to wire it into my plug at the rear now, and from what I read the dark blue wire is the electric brake wire. I don't have a dark blue, I have a teal and light blue. Does anyone know WHICH one of these is the wire up to the brake controller, or second, did they run a wire back from where you plug the controller in? I'd assume they would. Any help would be great thanks!!!

Fuse needs to be placed on stud #1 fuse position under hood if not already there. Also sometimes wire to rear is not attached to stud under fuse box housing. Check both of these and if both are hooked up then check for voltage at lt. blue wire when you activate the brake control manually.
