laguna fuel gauge

hi lads im new on here would be thankful for your help if you can,i have a 52 reg laguna 1.9dci i bought it a while back and love it,but i have recently developed a problem with my fuel gauge it just doesnt work and the fuel lights on all the time even when you refuel ,any ideas thanks richard
