Leaking FPR diaphram or ECT sensor. With the engine hot, what is the resistance of the ECT sensor?

EDIT: I doubt this could be a leaking FPR because on TBI models, the fuel pressure drops to zero when the key is off.

You can bypass the ECT by removing the connector (next to Tstat in intake manifold) and create a jumper wire between the 2 wires in the connector. If it starts good warm with the jumper wire, the ECT is bad.

Your other option is to use a scan tool and see what temp is being reported by the ECT.

I would replace the coil then, that is a common problem of a vehicle that the same symptoms as yours, not starting after warm.

I'd have to see a picture to see what you are talking about, but if you are talking about the thing connected to your center plug wire on the distributor, yes.
