Ok, I'd like to apologize first of all for my last thread. It turned out to be a blown fuse in the panel behind the passenger door. I should have checked simple stuff like that before I posted on here. Sorry about that!

Anyway, I have the NP249 transfer case in my 93 JGC, and there's a transfer case for sale locally for $200 that offers the option of 2WD, with 171,000 miles on it. It's an NP231J.

Will this bolt up without any modifications? There is nothing wrong with my current case, I would just like the option of 2WD. Is this case as easy to swap as the NP242 I read so much about?
