Hi There,

I have a 1993 Grand Cherokee Limited with the I6 engine and Quadra-Trac, and I want to change the oil in the differentials. Can anyone tell me if the differentials are limited-slip or not? I've searched the net and AF, and I can't find anything.

I need to know if I should add the Mopar limited-slip additive to the new oil.

Thanks!

Ok, I looked on the rear differential housing, and it has "323" stamped on it. It has a rubber plug with the Dana logo on it also. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

adding the lsd additive oil to your diff will not harm it if there is no lsd. usually dana rear ends have lsd. also there should be a tag or sort on the diff cover
