1988 Ranger 5 Speed fits what?

Can any one tell me what motors a M5R1 Ford/Mazda 5 speed from a 1988 Ranger with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder will bolt up to? It has the starter on the passenger side. I took this thing out to replace the motor and transmission with a 5.0 combo.
