:confused:I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee I just replaced the rear main that I thought was leaking!!!:banghead: It's still leaking oil out of the bottom of the bell housing still?? I noticed the oil filter adapter was leaking a little bit of oil out of the bottom.......I don't know if this could cause blow-back and be where the oil is coming from!?!?!:confused: I need to change the oil filter adapter but don't know what size or what kind of bit to use? A leaking valve cover gasket on that motor can look like it's coming from the rear main seal.

Will definately check that!

I have the same deal, oil leaks and cant find where its coming from quite. I see allot blow back, the front seems to be dry. Anyone have a good write up on how to replace the rear main seal? Thanx
